Freebie – AR15 speed loader (8/14/20)

This is for the tons of people asking to make their own AR15 speed loader.

This is a file from Phil Johnson, of Designs by Phil.

He is the one that makes the GRBL Demon Controller for the CNC4newbie machines. He did his in Easel, so there is a link to that and the DXF files.

I’ve converted this to a Vectrics Aspire and VCarve file.

here are the files on my google drive.

1st, this is designed for plywood 1.25 inch thick, 32″ x 25″ (I laminated to pieces of ply together).

2nd, i’ve not tried this file yet, but will soon. I have it built, but not tried on AR. it might need tweaking.

3rd. here are the depths and cutting template to use, if you don’t use my aspire or vcarve file.

white outline. profile cut outside

black, pocket 0.94″ deep

dark gray, pocket 0.68″

light gray, pocket 0.37″
